What is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone Therapy has historically been used to treat a variety of conditions. By
increasing the oxygen level in blood, it oxygenates the tissues in the whole body. Not only does it positively affect the appearance of the skin, but it also helps our body’s healing process. It supports blood and liver detoxification, is anti-aging and boosts the immune system.
Ozone is administered intravenously and takes only about 45 minutes per session. As the blood is inundated with oxygen and ozone, it creates an aerobic environment in which cells with anaerobic metabolisms cannot thrive, including bacteria and fungi.
Benefits and Eligibility
Who may be a candidate for Ozone Therapy?
Prevention: Frequent travelers are most at risk for getting sick. Varying sleeping
patterns, hectic schedules, the low oxygen level and recycled air in airplanes weakens the immune system and makes it easier to get sick. Especially for the people who are on-the-go schedule, we suggest getting an Ozone Therapy before and after their trip.
Immune Booster: Whether traveling, working long hours or battling premature aging, Ozone Therapy boosts to our immune system, improves circulation, helps liver cleansing and helps fight against viral illnesses such as cold sores, flu or hepatitis.
How It Works
What can I expect during treatment?
During this pain-free procedure a predetermined amount of blood is withdrawn directly into an enclosed glass receptacle. Medical grade ozone is then dissolved into the blood. The now oxygenated blood is reinfused back into the body. For therapeutic purposes, multiple sessions are recommended.
What can I expect after treatment?
You may experience mild detox symptoms especially if you a have viral, bacterial or fungal component to your illness. This is usually characterized by short term fatigue, hot and cold sensations, muscle or body aches (flu like symptoms). These symptoms are temporary and will typically resolve in approximately one day.
